TOCHI CHUKWUANI insists there’s plenty of football still to be played after the 0-0 draw with Hibernian.

The Light Blues may not have taken the three points they were looking for at Easter Road, however they extended their unbeaten domestic run to eight matches.

Chukwuani knows it wasn’t a perfect performance but insists the squad will keep their heads high ahead of Wednesday’s match with Kilmarnock at Ibrox.

Speaking to RangersTV, he said: “It was a difficult away game, but we didn’t get the rhythm the way we wanted.

“Our play in the final third wasn’t what we wanted but we can take the point and then look to see what we could have done better.

“I think we can improve but we kept the clean sheet and kept up our unbeaten run. We need to do more in the final third and we have to have more control in these types of games.

“We have to dominate these matches and that is something that I know I need to improve on too.

“If we control the game more it doesn’t become hectic.

“We have to keep our heads up, the season is until May and we are in the mixer.

“If we look at where we were before Christmas, then we are still in the mixer. We got a point and we have to keep our heads up as the next game is just around the corner.”

Chukwuani returned to the starting XI after missing the final Europa League clash in Porto.

He is loving life at Ibrox and believes there is more to come from him as he settles into life in Glasgow.

He added: “I have been thrown into it but that’s the way I like it.

“The guys have helped me settle in quickly, but we are trying to build relationships on the pitch.

“I need to find that connection with Nico Raskin but the more we play together the stronger that will become.

“We will continue to grow, this wasn’t a bad performance, but we know we can improve on things.

“We have Kilmarnock on Wednesday, and it is good that we have competition in the squad as it takes everyone.

“The fans bring us energy and we really need that.”
