The Carlos Alcaraz v Novak Djokovic was so big it was the kind of numbers reserved for State of Origin.
The Australian Open Men’s Final has delivered massive numbers to Nine.
Carlos Alcaraz v Novak Djokovic averaged a whopping 3.45m viewers in National TV Audience, the kind of numbers usually reserved for a State of Origin match.
The BVOD audience alone was 905,000, eclipsing the Women’s Final (500,000).
That completely dominates 2024’s 2.12m and 2025’s 2m viewers for the Men’s Final.
Nine drew another 1.53m for the Pre Match and 1.17m for the Presentation.
Nine drew a 44.8% share more than double the opposition, with Seven on 20.9%.
That made it tough going for other offerings last night.
Border Security topped entertainment at 702,000 for Seven.
I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here was 658,000 for 10.
Muster Dogs pulled 478,000 for ABC then Dog Park (420,000).
