Cam Rowston met the media Saturday after his win over Cody Brundage at UFC 325.

Rowston (14-3 MMA, 2-0 UFC) took Brundage (11-8-1 MMA, 5-7-1 UFC) to the second round and pounded him unmercilessly for a finish on the prelims at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney.

“This is very special for me,” Rowston told the UFC after his middleweight win. “This is my home town. This is where I was born. All my family, friends, post man, milk man – they all came to watch me. I knew I had to win this one – there was no other option.”

Just two fights into his UFC tenure, the Aussie already said things are feeling normal.

“It’s feeling normal now – it still gives you a kick, but it’s starting to feel familiar and feel like home,” Rowston said.
