ALICE Buckley will continue blazing a trail on the road to Supercars by contesting the 2026 Dunlop Super2 Series with her own team.
A General Motors protégé, Buckley made waves last year in the TA2 Muscle Car Series. The teenager also won the Toyota 86 Scholarship Series title and ended up testing a Matt Stone Racing Commodore in December.
She will now head into her maiden season in Supercars’ feeder category, racing a Triple Eight-built Holden under the Alice Buckley Motorsport banner with engineering and mechanical support from MSR.
“I’m so excited to be racing the Holden Commodore in the Dunlop Super2 Series this year. I’m most excited about it being the feeder category for Supercars, and that’s where I want to go,” Buckley said, whose Castrol-backed livery has also broken cover.
“We’ve decided to make the jump this year to a really exciting program.
“Obviously, my goals for going to Super2 are that I want to get rookie of the year, and if I can get in the top 10, I will be absolutely stoked.
“Being a driver has always been a dream since I was a little kid racing for James Courtney, so it’s been an absolute dream to get into Super2.
“Everyone’s been very supportive of not only having a young female, but a young female driver that is getting some good results at the moment. So I’ve been very fortunate to have the sport being very accepting and pushing for me.”
Buckley, who will also race in TA2, described MSR as a natural fit.

MSR is one of four GM teams in the 2026 Repco Supercars Championship.
“This program is about creating the right environment for development,” said team owner Matt Stone.
“Alice is a proven race winner and has shown exceptional potential, and by supporting her with our engineering and race expertise, we’re aiming to give her the best possible platform to grow and succeed in Super2 and beyond.”
MSR will also run two of its own entries this year in Super2, for Ayrton Hodson and Tommy Smith.
The last female driver to race in Supercars was Simona De Silvestro as part of a Dick Johnson Racing wildcard at the 2023 Bathurst 1000.
