“Bam Bam” isn’t done yet.

Fan-favorite Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Heavyweight Tai Tuivasa suffered another setback at UFC 325 last weekend (Sat., Jan. 31, 2026), dropping a loss to rising contender Tallison Teixeira on the main card inside Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

Earlier today, Tuivasa addressed the loss in a heartfelt Instagram post, opening up about the emotional toll of the defeat and his determination to keep pushing forward.

“That hurts the soul more then any punches.
I tried. I had a great camp looking forward to getting back in camp with the boys @tripl3mma so much to work on. Always big love to my supporters especially the Aussie fans/Crowd always cheering me on I’m sorry for falling short again. Fukin shit feeling ayy.
My poor boy has watched me get hit a few too many times now but just like I always tell him as long as you give it all you have and keep trying that’s all that matters. As long as I’m doing this, I will always keep trying had a great week together taking him and showing da fings didn’t get the result son but that is how life goes sometimes.
I hope I take all the loses for mine.
Thanks to everyone that was involved and help me during this camp and also during the time I had off I love you all and what yous do for me never goes unnoticed.
My beautiful partner thank you for looking after me and putting up with my shit I love you.”
