Enzo Fernandez is loving life under Liam Rosenior right now, scoring Chelsea’s winning goal against West Ham United last weekend.
It is the fourth time that Fernandez has found the back of the net since Rosenior’s arrival in west London.
It means that the 25-year-old has scored four goals in just seven games under his new manager, which is excellent for a midfielder.
Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher now thinks Fernandez is one of the best players in England.
How much would Enzo Fernandez cost if Chelsea tried to buy him today? 🤔 💰

All in all, Rosenior is getting the best out of Fernandez at this moment in time, and that may be down to his style of football.
According to the player himself, what Rosenior wants Chelsea to do on the pitch is “very clear”.
“The results under the new coach are there for all to see,” Fernandez said via Chelsea’s official club website. “He hasn’t been with us very long, and his ideas are already very clear. We’re very happy with him and with the confidence he gives us every day. So, we’ll continue along this path.”
Rosenior’s management and tactics have not always been perfect since he joined the Blues. It is why Chelsea found themselves losing at half-time in games against West Ham and Napoli.
However, the 41-year-old was quick to make changes during those matches, which helped the team to turn things around.
In the past, his predecessor Enzo Maresca was criticised for being rigid and the substitutions that he used to make. Nevertheless, Rosenior still has huge respect for Maresca.

There have been some similarities between Rosenior’s Chelsea and Maresca’s. For example, like Maresca, Rosenior is still asking the full-backs to come inside and help with build-up play.

Yet there are still some noticeable differences in the overall build-up play, with Rosenior preferring his team to pass the ball centrally before they go out wide, something that Carragher recently discussed.
For now, Rosenior’s tactics and substitutions are working. But the Englishman will be tested on Tuesday night when he takes his side to the Emirates to face Arsenal in the second leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final tie.
Chelsea currently find themselves trailing after losing 3-2 in the first leg at Stamford Bridge.
