The 2026 Grammys red carpet and performance looks were doing the absolute most, with some veryyyy shocking and wild looks. But some of its best moments were hiding in plain sight. Between blink-and-you’ll-miss-it accessories, subtle nods to past eras, and styling choices that told a much bigger story, there was a lot more going on than just pretty outfits. Here are eight details you definitely missed!1. First, Justin Bieber wore Skylrk underwear (his own clothing brand) for his performance, but that wasn’t even the most interesting detail of his stripped-down look.

Pharrell, dapper as always, wore a pink suede Louis Vuitton suit. The musician has served as the brand’s men’s creative director since 2023.
And if you looked closely during his performance, Pharrell also dressed the background choir, Voices of Fire, in Louis Vuitton monogrammed robes, turning the entire moment into a full-on fashion spectacle.

3. Heidi Klum wore literally just a mold of her own body.

Heidi Klum is always raising the fashion stakes, and this year’s Grammys red carpet was no exception. The model stepped out in a skin-toned, lacquered dress by Marina Hoermanseder sculpted to mimic the female form. What casual viewers may not have realized is that the piece was fully customized and molded after Klum’s body, making the look even more of a fashion statement.

“Bad Bunny in a black tux… BORINGGGG!” is probably what casual viewers yelled at the TV, but not here. A peek at the back of this stunning look shows off the custom corseted detail Daniel Roseberry is known for. The suit doesn’t just cinch the Grammy winner’s waist; it adds a timeless flair to an already classic silhouette.
5. Kelsea Ballerini had an optical illusion sequin moment.

Kelsea Ballerini brought truly refined glamour to the Grammys red carpet in this over-embellished Etro gown. What really stood out, though, were the fringe appliqués cascading from her knees. The fringe creates the illusion of sequins melting into the rest of the train, further amplifying the look’s impact!
6. So many stars were wearing ICE OUT pins…

While the red carpet fashions were stunning, one small detail truly stole the show. Several attendees wore “ICE OUT” pins, delivering a pointed political message about the current state of the United States. From the legendary Joni Mitchell to Oscar winners Billie Eilish and Finneas, the pins popped up again and again on the Grammys red carpet, turning a subtle accessory into one of the night’s most talked-about statements.
7. Sombr brought back Valentino studs in a nod to the medieval.

Sombr brought glitz and metallic glam to the red carpet in custom Valentino, but the shoes deserve just as much attention. The look marks a return to Valentino’s iconic studs, a detail that has been hotly debated in the fashion zeitgeist lately, while also echoing the outfit’s medieval influences. From the armor-like edge to the polished finish, the footwear ties the whole moment together. Sombr’s stylist truly got it right, proving that the smallest details can carry the biggest impact.
8. And finally, the front of Chappell Roan’s nipple ring look was certainly a topic of conversation…

Chappell knows her brand and her color scheme, and she consistently wears designers that align with her singular style. Mugler was the perfect choice for music’s biggest night, and the back is just as interesting as the front. A closer look reveals a temporary lower back tattoo that reads “princess,” a nod to her album, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess. It is a detail that feels intentional and deeply on theme, reinforcing how carefully she curates every part of her look.
