The Seattle Seahawks head coach would be the first primary defensive play-caller to ever win the big game. But Macdonald has seemingly stolen the “we do not care” catchphrase from Mike Tomlin, because the Seahawks coach has no interest in that storyline.
“I just want us to win the game,” he said Tuesday. “If we win it, that will be the last thing on my mind. I’ll be really happy for the 12s, for our players, for our coaches. That will be the things that will be special to me.”

Seattle looks to win its second Super Bowl in franchise history on Sunday. Standing in their way is the New England Patriots, owners of six Super Bowls.

Macdonald was asked Tuesday on what he thought the makeup of the crowd would be for Super Bowl 60 and if he thought the fans would travel.
“Our 12s have traveled tremendously throughout the year,” he said. “We were in Nashville; we had a bunch of fans there. Carolina, we had a bunch of fans. We expect quite the turnout this game. I feel like you could put the game anywhere in the world and we’d have a heck of a turnout.”
