The PFL has taken a significant step in its 2026 expansion strategy by confirming an exclusive media rights agreement with Chinese streaming giant Migu, giving the promotion a dedicated home in the world’s largest digital market for combat sports audiences. The deal will see Migu carry 24 PFL live events this year, including 16 global shows and eight international cards from the MENA and Africa series, alongside original shoulder programming and archival content on a dedicated PFL-branded channel page.

Under the agreement, Migu subscribers will gain access to every stop on the 2026 PFL global schedule, starting with PFL: Road to Dubai on 7 February, where lightweight champion Usman Nurmagomedov defends his title against 2025 Lightweight World Tournament winner Alfie Davis at Coca-Cola Arena.
The calendar then shifts to Europe for PFL Madrid in March, before heading to the United States for events in Pittsburgh and Chicago, all of which will stream live on Migu in China. In addition, the platform will show eight PFL International events across the Middle East and Africa, mirroring the 2026 structure already confirmed in the promotion’s recent rights deals in Latin America.
Migu Video operates as China Mobile’s core sports and entertainment platform and has grown into the country’s leading digital destination for live sports, short-form highlights, movies, and variety shows. The service aggregates more than 30 premium sports properties and delivers in excess of 8,000–9,000 live sports events per year, supported by AI-powered clipping tools and multi-angle viewing options to tailor feeds for users across mobile and connected devices.
“With Migu’s unmatched digital reach and innovation, we’re excited to showcase elite MMA talent, compelling storytelling, to a rapidly growing and passionate fanbase in China. This collaboration underscores our commitment to expanding the global footprint of the PFL and the sport of MMA.” John Martin
Previous partnerships with the NBA, FIBA, and other global rights-holders have positioned Migu as a key outlet for international competitions in China, with the user base cited in the hundreds of millions and marketed reach across up to 1 billion customer touchpoints through China Mobile’s ecosystem.
“China is one of the most important growth markets for mixed martial arts, and our partnership with Migu represents a major step forward in bringing the Professional Fighters League’s world-class product to fans across the region.” John Martin
As part of the new relationship, PFL programming will sit alongside some of the most valuable rights packages in world sport, including the Olympics, FIFA World Cup, English Premier League, LaLiga, Chinese Super League, NBA, and UFC, which are already promoted on Migu as flagship offerings for local fans.
The platform plans a dedicated PFL section featuring live broadcasts, localized editorial, regular updates, interactive games, and multi-angle coverage aimed at building a community around the league in mainland China. The focus on localization and interactivity mirrors Migu’s approach in football and basketball, where alternate feeds, studio guests, and peripheral shows have become standard for major events since the 2018 World Cup.
PFL CEO John Martin framed China as a priority market for mixed martial arts and described the Migu alliance as a key move in bringing the league’s season format and fighter roster to a growing fan base in the region. He highlighted Migu’s digital reach and technology stack as central to showcasing the promotion’s champions, storylines, and new signings at a time when PFL is also scaling its footprint through renewed deals with ESPN in the United States and new partnerships in Mexico and Central America.
“Migu is delighted to announce our partnership with the PFL. We are committed to building a home for all Chinese MMA fans, working together to broadcast the world’s top MMA events,” said a Migu representative. “We look forward to working with PFL to bring the highest-quality viewing experience to Chinese fans.”
A Migu representative said the company intends to “build a home” for Chinese MMA fans by integrating PFL into its existing portfolio of top-tier events and by leveraging its live production tools to deliver high-quality coverage throughout the 2026 season.
