South Australia’s biggest celebration of food and drink is back, with the full Tasting Australia presented by Journey Beyond 2026 program officially landing today. This year will see a program that brings together international culinary stars, local legends and immersive dining experiences. South Australia will become the table on which Tasting Australia is set, allowing for exploration across diverse regions and landscapes, with Adelaide as the festival’s heartbeat.

Leading all the fun is the Australian debut of Punk Royale, the famous Scandinavian fine-dining disruptors who have built a cult following in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Oslo and London. Taking over a Hindley Street venue for one night only, Punk Royale is bringing a wild, no-rules experience where a multi-course feast, paired drinks and unapologetic chaos come together. It’s intimate, unpredictable, and already looking to be one of the most talked-about tickets of the festival.

Another top pick is Under One Sky, a one-night-only event at Tandanya that combines fire, art, music and story. Chefs Mindy Woods, Duncan Welgemoed, Sarah Glover and Alex Crawford will cook over flame, joined by South Australian winemakers Sue Bell and Pauly Vandenbergh, creating an immersive evening of culture, community and connection to Country.

Travel is also a highlight, with the return of Tasting Australia By Train and Tasting Australia By Road. These curated journeys invite guests to get out and explore South Australia through a selection of exceptional local produce, stunning landscapes and dining moments.

The centre of Adelaide will once again come to life, with Town Square evolving into a must-visit with the Good Neighbour series. This reimagined Town Square is all about long-table dining, shared plates and a relaxed bistro vibe that brings people together. Enjoy an epic Sunday Roast with all the trimmings, a Mother’s Day Lunch and collab dinners with the likes of O.My and Victor Liong.

Hotpot Express adds a fun twist with a two-night takeover at Mr Hotpoter, where top Australian chefs reinterpret comfort food, while the Club Series brings in some of Adelaide’s cultural clubs. With Slovenian, Italian, Austrian, Polish and Hellenic clubs, these nights combine heritage recipes with contemporary cooking, offering a unique way to experience the communities that shape South Australia’s food scene.
