White is Chicago’s top scorer this season, averaging 18.6 points per game as well as 3.7 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game. He’s shooting 43.8% overall and 34.6% on 3-pointers and will slot in as a valuable contributor for the Hornets alongside its star tandem of rookie Kon Knueppel and veteran LaMelo Ball.

Charlotte has been one of the hottest teams in the NBA in 2026 and has won seven in a row to move back into contention for a spot in the SoFi Play-In Tournament.  The Hornets need one more win for their longest single-season win streak since December 1999. Additionally, Charlotte ranks second in both Offensive Rating (120.6) and Defensive Rating (106.3) during its hot streak.

Conley (4.4 ppg, 1.8 rpg, 2.9 apg) was dealt from Minnesota to Chicago via a three-team trade on Tuesday. He will be a veteran voice for youthful Hornets and was a reserve for Minnesota this season after spending many seasons as a starter.

Sexton will head to Chicago and serve as a reliable bench scoring option. He’s one of the NBA’s best as a reserve scorer this season, posting 13.7 ppg and 3 apg as a backup, a role he’s filled in 30 of his 42 games this season. The Hornets originally acquired Sexton from the Utah Jazz last offseason.
