BenQ has launched the InstaShow VS25, a wireless conferencing system that adds native 4K UHD output to the company’s InstaShow line-up while keeping its one-tap, driver-free screen-sharing approach.
The VS25 is an in-room wireless presentation system designed for workplaces that mix employee-owned devices with shared meeting-room equipment. It targets BYOD and BYOM set-ups, where participants bring their own laptops or mobile devices and connect their own meeting services.
The model supports up to 64 hardware “buttons” across a deployment and allows four presenters to share on screen at the same time. This positions it for larger organisations that want a consistent presentation workflow across multiple meeting rooms, while still enabling several attendees to share content in a single session.
Alongside its own connection method, the VS25 supports common casting standards, including AirPlay, ChromeCast, and Miracast. Users can share from a wider range of devices-laptops, tablets, and smartphones-without installing extra software.
Video And Interaction
The headline upgrade is 4K output at 60Hz, intended to improve clarity and smoothness for detailed documents, dashboards, and video content shown during meetings.
The system also includes touchback control, which lets a presenter control the source device from a touch-enabled display in the room. With an interactive panel, this enables on-screen navigation and annotation directly from the display, rather than from the presenter’s keyboard or trackpad.
The VS25 works with major video conferencing platforms, including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet. BenQ positions it for hybrid meetings, where in-room presenters share content while remote participants stay in the same call.
Aleem Khan, Product Manager at BenQ Australia, said meeting rooms still lose time to technical friction and inconsistent device set-ups.
“Many enterprises lose valuable time due to technical difficulties during meetings,” said Khan. “The InstaShow VS25 eliminates these friction points entirely. The VS25 particularly addresses the hybrid meeting challenge, allowing in-room participants to share content wirelessly while maintaining seamless integration with remote attendees through any video conferencing platform. The solution works straight out of the box-no apps, no drivers, no IT configuration required.”
Wireless And Range
The VS25 utilises Wi‑Fi 6. In environments with a high density of connected devices – common in corporate offices and shared meeting spaces – Wi‑Fi 6 can improve network efficiency.
BenQ specifies a stable transmission range of up to 40 metres. While the actual range may vary depending on the building layout and potential interference, the figure suggests the system is designed to cover typical meeting rooms and adjacent spaces without the need for additional infrastructure.
Security Features
Security remains a primary concern for organisations that allow guest devices into meeting rooms. BenQ states that the VS25 incorporates AES 128-bit encryption, supports WPA3, and is CVSS 4.0 certified.
Meeting-room technology is frequently a point of contention between collaboration teams and IT operations. Products in this category typically compete on a balance of user-friendliness for staff and visitors, alongside security controls designed to mitigate risks when unmanaged devices connect to the network.
Market Context
Hybrid work continues to influence how companies invest in meeting-room equipment, with more emphasis on quick start-up, a consistent user experience across rooms, and compatibility with multiple operating systems. BenQ is positioning the VS25 as part of that shift, with a focus on enabling sharing regardless of device type or technical familiarity.
Support for multiple operating systems, plus casting options and dedicated buttons, reflects a broader market push for flexibility. Organisations in Australia have also been updating meeting rooms as part of wider refresh cycles tied to video conferencing adoption and office redesigns.
Pricing And Channels
BenQ has priced the InstaShow VS25 at AUD 3,199 and will retail the device through distribution channels across Australia.
The VS25 extends BenQ’s existing portfolio of projectors, monitors, and interactive displays. The company appears to be targeting the sustained demand for meeting-room tools that bridge the gap between user devices and in-room screens, particularly for organisations seeking to avoid software installations and minimise dependence on corporate networks.
