The Aztecs are 1-5 on the season, coming off a 4-3 loss to Loyola Marymount on Jan. 25. They have faced three top 20 opponents, falling to No. 19 USC, No. 4 Stanford and No. 15 California. Their win came against UC San Diego in a 4-0 sweep on Jan. 11.
Arkansas enters Friday’s matchup with a 6-1 record. The Razorbacks most recently defeated Penn 4-2 in a neutral site match, following a 4-2 loss at Yale. Head coach Jay Udwadia returned five players from the 2025 roster which went 18-14 in the spring campaign. The Razorbacks are 2-0 in the all-time series between the two programs, taking the last match 4-3 in 2023.
Tulsa holds a 5-4 overall record and is set to play No. 5 TCU on Friday and Creighton on Sunday morning prior to facing the Aztecs. Last season, the Hurricane went 14-14, including 12-4 at home, under head coach Vince Westbrook, who is in his 35th season at the helm. This will be the sixth meeting between the two programs, but the first since 2002. San Diego State currently leads 3-2 in the all-time series.
Following this weekend’s road trip, the Aztecs will return to The Mesa to host Utah at 1 p.m. on Feb. 14.
