HBO has released a first look at Sharon Stone’s character in the third season of Euphoria ahead of the show’s return next spring. The Hollywood legend is joining Sam Levinson’s acclaimed drama series alongside many returning cast members, including Zendaya, Hunter Schafer and Jacob Elordi.
With season 3 premiering on 12 April, Euphoria has given fans a sneak peek at Stone, who appears to portray a film studio executive.
Clad in an all-black suit, the character can be seen smirking at someone off camera as she’s holding a pen while having lunch at her desk. In the background, the iconic water tower at the Warner Bros studio lot in Burbank, California, is visible.
This means that the third instalment counts the studio lot among its locations, which appears to confirm a significant change of scenery from the first two seasons.
To make up for the four-year break between season 2 and 3, the characters will be saying goodbye to high school in a five-year time jump that’s set to catapult them into their adult lives.

It is not clear which of the East Highland High gang, if any, may be working at the studio (our money is on Lexi), but what is certain is that Stone’s character means business.
HBO also teased the studio exec isn’t one to be messed with as they introduced the character on social media.
“She runs the show,” the cheeky caption on the Instagram post reads as Stone replied with a red hart emoji, writing: “We’re so back.”

The star previously shared her excitement at joining the series, saying in a statement: “There is little more exciting than going to work with this team of thrilling talent. From the genius of Sam Levinson to the raw sophistication of this profoundly moving cast and tight crew. I am honored to be Euphoric.”
Stone isn’t the only big name making an appearance in the long-awaited season 3 of Euphoria.
The upcoming chapter will see the likes of RosalÃa, Danielle Deadwyler, Eli Roth, Natasha Lyonne and Rebecca Pidgeon starring, among many others.
Euphoria season 3 premieres on HBO and HBO Max in the US on 12 April. In the UK, the series airs on Sky Atlantic and streams on Sky Go/NOW.
