Halle Berry loves a sneaky sultry detail. And last night, for her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she served up the blink-and-you’ll-miss-it kind.
The actress has been out and about promoting her new film Crime 101, and she stopped by 30 Rock for a fun chat and a silly game of “Reverse Staring Contest” with Fallon. The evening doubled as a fashionable, office-siren-coded outing.

The Catwoman star took her seat in a skintight black latex midiskirt. She paired the shiny number with an ocean-blue chiffon blouse that featured long sleeves, a high neckline, and a keyhole cutout slit that plunged down to her ribs. However, the slit was so narrow, it could only be seen from certain angles. She kept the party going with strappy black heels, stud earrings, and a massive engagement ring. Yup, that’s right, Berry also had some news: She confirmed she is indeed engaged to her long-term boyfriend (or rather fiancé) Van Hunt.
To show off her gorgeous intricate gold ring, Berry opted for a backdrop of classic soap nails. As for the rest of her glam, she complemented her glowy skin with bronzy cheeks, defined eyebrows, fluttery eyelashes, and nude lips. Finally, she styled her caramel-hued lob down in soft waves with full fringe.

Before Fallon could ask any questions, Berry set the record straight about her relationship with Hunt. “There’s some confusion that he asked to marry me and I said no. I did not say no. We just don’t have a date. But of course I said yes, I would marry him,” she said, giggly as she added, “He did put a little ring on it” and flashed her left hand.
Berry and Hunt first connected during quarantine in early 2020. By the summer of that year, they were posting pictures of each other on social media and going on Las Vegas trips. They made their red carpet debut at the 2021 Academy Awards, and have since gushed over one another in interviews and made many high-profile outings.
