The Vancouver Canucks are bringing back a familiar face to add some forward depth this season.
The team announced Tuesday that they have agreed to terms with Russian forward Vitali Kravtsov for a one-year, two-way contract.
Kravtsov played his last two seasons in the KHL with Traktor Chelyabinsk, where he recorded 92 points (45 goals, 47 assists) across 121 regular-season games. In the 2024-25 season, he ended the year with a plus-31 rating.
The Russian native played 16 games with the Canucks in the 2022-23 season after being traded from the New York Rangers. He registered one goal and one assist during his time with the team.
Kravtsov was selected ninth overall by the New York Rangers in the 2019 NHL Draft.
