Sophie Falsay, 28, and Jake Steed, 33

After weeks of dreary rain-filled days, the sun came out just in time for Sophie and Jake’s wedding.

A scorching 35C day nevertheless.

Guests travelled from near and far for the big day — notably Sophie’s grandmother Elizabeth and uncle Edward, who flew all the way from Glasgow.

Edward walked Sophie down the aisle wearing his kilt, alongside her mother Antoinette.

Their special day took place on November 30, 2025, at Caversham House in the Swan Valley.

The ceremony took place in the Hidden Gardens before a reception in a marquee nearby, with a glowing canopy of chandeliers.

Bride Sophie found her breathtaking A-line dress and cathedral veil at True Society by Tuscany Bridal in Leederville.

Groom Jake donned a tuxedo from Penguin Formal Wear in Perth.

The newlyweds visited Japan for the first time together, travelling through Kyoto, Tokyo and Hakuba.
