Confirmed: Arsenal to sign defender Daniel McCarron from Dungannon Swifts in July

Arsenal have reached an agreement to sign defender Daniel McCarron from Dungannon Swifts, as reported by the club.

The centre-back will be part of next season’s scholarship intake in July and will sign professional terms when he turns 17 on February 2nd 2027.

A Northern Ireland U17 international, McCarron has been on the bench for Dungannon’s first-team on two occasions.

He has featured for Arsenal U17s as a trialist over the past couple of seasons, including in the Adidas Cup success in Brazil last campaign.
