Chelsea sign 19-year-old Netherlands defender Jorrel Hato from Ajax
Chelsea have completed the signing of Netherlands defender Jorrel Hato from Ajax in a deal worth a reported £37million.
The 19-year-old, who has been capped six times by his country, has signed a seven-year contract at Stamford Bridge.
He becomes the Blues’ eighth signing of the summer transfer window.

Man Utd expecting Garnacho offers
Manchester United are expecting formal offers for Alejandro Garnacho later in the window, reports Sky.
Garnacho is a known target for Chelsea, who reportedly value him at around £30m.
Ruben Amorim said over the weekend that “it’s clear Garnacho wants a different thing with a different leadership”, and it is likely that the Blues attempt to sign both Garnacho and Xavi Simons before the end of the window.

Tottenham fear for James Maddison as injury overshadows Son Heung-min farewell
James Maddison suffered a serious-looking knee injury as Tottenham’s pre-season tour of Asia concluded with a draw against Newcastle in Seoulon Sunday.
The England international was carried off on a stretcher and looked in obvious pain after going down unchallenged late in the game.
The friendly, which ended 1-1, was otherwise notable for the emotional reception the departing Son Heung-min received from fans in his home city.

Carney Chukwuemeka is another Chelsea player who is on the way out of Stamford Bridge, with Borussia Dortmund ‘reactivating’ direct talks with the Blues according to Fabrizio Romano.

Atalanta CEO Antonio Percassi has spoken out on the situation involving the potential sale of Ademola Lookman, saying: “The pact with Lookman was made one year ago when we rejected €20m from PSG”.

Newcastle to compete for Guehi?
Newcastle United are considering returning to a move for Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi, according to the Times.
Guehi has been a target for Liverpool this summer but was the subject of a large bid from Newcastle last summer.
This year, it is thought that the Magpies value him at £40m, though Palace’s valuation is more like £50m.
