I had a really good Saturday, cashing on both of my Same Game Parlay bets at +422 and +355 odds. All the attention might be on Super Bowl LX, but that doesn’t mean we should ignore today’s NBA slate. I’m focusing on the Clippers vs Timberwolves clash at 3:00 pm ET on ESPN.

My Same Game Parlay includes a pair of Player Prop Bets and is priced at a solid +507 odds. The action in the NBA starts as early as 12.30 pm ET, don’t forget to check our NBA Picks for the 4-game slate. Let’s get into my bet now!

Ayo Dosunmu 3+ made threes (+320)
John Collins to score 15+ points (-186)
Same Game Parlay odds: +507
Ayo Dosunmu 3+ made threes (+320)

The Timberwolves traded for Ayo Dosunmu for his 3-point shooting ability, and I feel like they’ll look to try and get him acclimated to his new surroundings as fast as possible. This trade has the potential to be one of the better ones even though it did not draw as much attention as some of the flashier moves made before the deadline. That’s completely fine. Dosunmu is one of those players that does his job and doesn’t complain much. He’s had a career year shooting the basketball, making over 51% of his field-goal attempts and also draining 45.1% of his threes. Minnesota is an already prolific 3-point shooting team, ranking fourth in percentage and 10th in threes made per game — but the addition of Dosunmu could lift the offense to a whole new level. In 2 of his last 3 games for the Bulls, he knocked down 3 and 5 threes. If the T-Wolves are smart, they will go to him early and often. For a player who has made at least 3 threes in 13 games this season and is shooting over 45%, we are getting a really solid price for him to do so on Sunday.

John Collins to score 15+ points (-186)

With Big Zu and James Harden no longer with the team, the Clippers need to find a way to compensate for their combined average of 39.8 points per game. Collins is now the team’s second-leading scorer behind Kawhi Leonard, and we could see his role on offense expand drastically after the moves they made before the trade deadline. We saw some of that in their last 2 games, with Collins going for 22 and 19 points against Cleveland and Sacramento, respectively. He heads into Sunday’s game having cleared this line in 5 consecutive games, while over his last 9 outings he is shooting an incredible 62% from the field and 47.4% from downtown. In the 3 most recent meetings with Minnesota, Collins is averaging 19 points per game — clearing this line on 2 occasions. I have high expectations for Collins in these next couple of months of the regular season, so let’s hope he has a big scoring game on Sunday.
