Sony has already confirmed that the WF-1000XM6 will launch on February 12. The company is also expected to reveal the full specifications on the same day. However, it now looks like those details have leaked early, giving us a clear picture of what Sony’s next earbuds will offer.

The leak comes from Billbil-kun, who has a strong track record when it comes to accurate product leaks. We already got our first look at the WF-1000XM6 through a retailer listing, and the color options were also leaked earlier. This new information, however, focuses entirely on the specifications and upgrades.

The biggest upgrade is the new QN3e processor. It is said to be three times faster than the chip used in the WF-1000XM5. This processor works with eight adaptive microphones instead of six, which should result in more stable and effective noise cancellation. Sony has also updated the audio hardware, including a new speaker, an improved DAC, and a better amplifier, which should improve clarity and overall sound quality.

The earbuds also use a redesigned shape with better airflow and insulated ear tips for improved comfort. They also add 360 Reality Audio with head tracking and a smarter Ambient Sound mode that automatically adjusts using three different profiles.

Noise control is handled by adaptive noise cancellation, multiple ambient modes, and the new processor, while audio support includes Hi-Res Wireless via LDAC, DSEE Extreme upscaling, and custom EQ settings. Battery life is rated at up to eight hours on the earbuds, with another 16 hours provided by the charging case.

The full leaked specifications of the Sony WF-1000XM6 can be seen in the table below:
