South Australia has named a 13-man squad to face New South Wales as One-Day Cup action returns on Tuesday, February 10 at Cricket Central in Sydney.

The squad includes four changes from the group that last played in mid-November. Ashes hero Alex Carey returns to the one-day side, Hanno Jacobs and potential debutants Campbell Thompson, along with Jerrssis Wadia following his breakout season with the Adelaide Strikers, have all earned selection. Brendan Doggett is unavailable due to injury while Nathan McAndrew is being managed.

In South Australia’s most recent one-day outing, captain Nathan McSweeney led the charge with the bat, falling agonisingly short of his half-century after being dismissed on 49. Despite their efforts, South Australia were unable to defend their first-innings total, as Tasmania chased down the target with four wickets in hand.

McSweeney will again look to lead from the front as South Australia chase maximum points, aiming to climb from their current mid-table position and push back into contention for the final as they look to defend their title.

Squad of 13: Jordan Buckingham, Alex Carey, Daniel Drew, Jake Fraser-McGurk, Mackenzie Harvey, Hanno Jacobs, Jake Lehmann, Nathan McSweeney, Lloyd Pope, Jason Sangha, Liam Scott, Campbell Thompson and Jerrssis Wadia.
