Married At First Sight‘s newest bride Stella has found herself among a cast of huge personalities – and a surprise rivalry.
During a TV interview with Today Extra hosts David Campbell and Belinda Russell, Stella recalled meeting her fellow brides at the annual Hens’ party and being completely unaware that a feud was already brewing between Gia and Bec.
But ahead of the first Dinner Party, Stella revealed her reaction to them going back-and-forth … and it was pretty scathing.

”Specific brides started to collect their little, as I call them, ‘minions,'” she said.
“I think, when you don’t have actual lived-in confidence, you need people standing by your side, you need people to egg you on.”

Stella said she found the behaviour odd, especially so early in the experiment.
“One specific bride started to say bad things about others and I’m like, ‘you don’t know them yet, how can you make judgement about it?’
“I was like ‘this is too much and I’m not getting involved.'”
But on the bright side, from the moment she walked into a room of “very fiery, very out-there characters”, at the Hens’ party, Stella felt like she’d be able to keep her head down and focus on her relationship.
“I was like, ‘ok, this is the spotlight, I can be here in my corner doing my own thing, looking for my love,'” she said.

Stella and Filip looked cosy on the Today Extra couch, perhaps a sign that Stella’s friends didn’t impact their relationship despite some tense wedding day conversations.

They had worried about Filip’s intentions after he mentioned his YouTube channel in his wedding vows and definitely made it known.
On the couch, neither Stella nor Filip thought it was a big deal.

The bride’s friends warn her about her new groom.
“I didn’t clock anything that would tickle me in the wrong way,” Stella told the hosts.
In fact, she really liked that Filip’s channel was focused on men’s mental health!

”It was a two second comment, little did I know there was a lot of shimmering and cooking in the background,” the groom joked.
