Cha-ching!
That is the sound of Kenneth Walker’s price tag going up after the free agent running back was crowned MVP of Super Bowl LX; the first RB to win the award since 1998.
Walker had 161 all-purpose yards, thriving on outside runs against the New England Patriots defence as he capped off a stellar postseason run.

Walker was forced to step up with running mate Zach Charbonnet unavailable after tearing his ACL in the team’s divisional Round win over the San Francisco 49ers.
The 25-year-old had 38 carries for 178 yards and four touchdowns in the postseason, while he was also weaponised in the passing game with 78 yards.
Walker is a free agent this summer and while there was a chance of him joining another team, Charbonnet’s injury will only further incentivise Seattle — who has a tonne of cap space — to throw a big offer his way.
“Of course, we want Ken back,” coach Mike MacDonald said earlier in the week. “He’s a phenomenal player. He’s a great person. He’s a great teammate. Those are the people we want in our building. Those are the people we want with the Seahawks.
“I’m sure Ken feels the same way. Again, those are things that we’re going to have to worry about, not right now. Those are decisions we’ll make in the future. But Ken knows how we feel about him. And I think we know how Ken feels about us.”

Walker echoed those sentiments, telling reporters if it was his choice he would “definitely” stay.
“I’ve been here four years, so you know I’ve gotten to know a lot of stuff about Seattle, and you know a lot of the city, and I feel like they feel good about me as well,” he added.
