Kozhikode: Oscar-winning composer A R Rahman unveiled the world’s largest sound healing dome, known as the Sonorium, at Tulåh Clinical Wellness in Kozhikode, marking a major milestone in India’s holistic and integrative wellness landscape.

Rahman inaugurated the immersive wellness space on Saturday during a visit with his Indian classical ensemble JHALAA, describing the Sonorium as a “profoundly therapeutic” environment. “The vibrations are deeply healing. The stillness and purity of tulåh’s setting naturally support focus, creativity and restoration,” he said.

Founded by Faizal Kottikollon, Tulåh Clinical Wellness collaborated with Svaram, Auroville, to create the Sonorium, which is based on a seven-fold geometric system representing the seven chakras of the human body. “The dome itself is an instrument, seamlessly integrated with sound tools, blending ancient wisdom with modern science,” Kottikollon said.

Engineered to deliver precisely calibrated acoustic frequencies, the sound healing dome is designed to promote relaxation, balance the nervous system and support the body’s natural healing processes. The space will host guided sound therapy sessions, meditative immersions and curated wellness programmes led by global practitioners.

With growing global interest in non-invasive and experiential wellness therapies, the Sonorium positions Kerala as a key destination for transformative sound healing and integrative wellness.

Tulåh Clinical Wellness Sonorium will open for bookings and visitors from March 2026.
