If you’re tired of taking off your gloves off in the cold just to text, a pair of touchscreen-compatible gloves can make things a lot easier. We found a slim pair made from merino wool that lets you use your phone without exposing your fingers — and they’re shockingly affordable, priced at under $7. According to our price trackers, these are 42% off! Reviewers call them super comfortable and “warm enough to keep the chill off.”

You can finally text and check your GPS without freezing your fingers.

If you’re freezing out on the streets and don’t want to pull your gloves off to text, these gloves are an easy fix. They’ll keep your fingers warm in the cold, and as one shopper notes, they’re “just a little thicker than those small cotton stretch gloves.” The gloves feature a snug, low-profile fit, making them comfortable for everyday wear — perfect for texting, scrolling, typing directions into your GPS or even playing games without freezing your fingers off.

Other reviewers praise the dense knit and thoughtful design, especially the touchscreen fingertips. “I’m writing this review on my phone with the gloves on,” one reviewer wrote, adding that the fabric nicely glides across the screen “better than with bare fingertips.”

“I’m not noticing any issues with accuracy,” they continue, “which is great because I got these primarily for playing Pokémon Go.”

The cozy gloves are made tough for durability and functional wear.

Made with a blend of merino wool, Lycra, spandex and nylon, the gloves are blended with synthetics to give it some extra toughness and added stretch. The wrists have knit elasticized cuffs to cinch out the wind, while its textured palms prevent your phone from slipping out of your hands.

Reviewers are mixed when it comes to fit, but several say sizing up is a must to ensure it covers your wrists. You can grab a pair in sizes M-XL, and in red, black, navy, gray, and khaki.

Keep your hands cozy and warm, and text while you’re doing it, by getting a pair of these gloves. Save 42% off a pair (or two) of these, and check out what happy reviewers have to say about them below.

“I’ve tried many different sets of gloves. These are some high quality simple gloves. I like that they are very fitting to the hands makes it easy to text and use a touchscreen phone. And they are also surprisingly warm. I work outside and use my phone for work so having some gloves that are surprisingly warm and work well with my phone is nice! I rarely leave reviews but these are worth the price, I would 100% buy again, these gloves are WORTH IT!” — Spencer Sorensen

“Great gloves to keep your hands warm in cooler temps. Not exactly warm enough for sub zero temps, but warm enough to keep the chill off. Just a little thicker than those small cotton stretch gloves. In fact I’m ordering another pair I let my mother use them and I’m not getting them back” —frank yanik

“I’m so impressed with these gloves!
I had previously ordered a different wool-blend pair from this brand, that was discounted for Black Friday, but they fit badly and weren’t very warm. This pair was only $2 more (at $10), and with the reviews and product photos, I decided to try them as maybe a liner glove. These aren’t a perfect fit, but they’re very good, and the knit is very dense and warm without being bulky. No visible skin through the yarns anywhere when I make a fist! The seams are nearly invisible, and seem sturdy; the touchscreen fingertips cover all sides of the finger up to the first joint on me, and I like that they match the glove and don’t stand out awkwardly like so many do.
I ordered the Medium size, and the fingers are all nicely snug, but not too tight, on my hands which are on the large side of medium, and most of them are just the right length. The pinkie finger ends up being too long because its “joint” is set too high in relation to the others; fortunately this is an acceptable flaw, since I don’t really use my pinkie fingers, and the price was only $10. If I’d paid more, I’d hold out for a more exact fit. The wristbands are stretchy but in a firm way, and hold them in place well while keeping air out.
The touchscreen aspect gets an even higher rating from me – I’m writing this review on my phone with the gloves on, and it’s actually better than with bare fingertips, since the glove’s surface glides across the glass with much less friction. I’m not noticing any issues with accuracy, which is great because I got these primarily for playing Pokémon Go.
On warm hands indoors, these made my hands too hot quickly. Update on their heat retention in cold outdoor weather soon to come!” —T.m.caurinus

But my new hand warmers keep my hands nice and warm inside my mittens and walks are no longer a problem for my hands! The warmers fit into a mitten easily.
