LAS VEGAS – Wang Cong met the media Saturday after her win over Eduarda Moura at UFC Fight Night 266.
Cong (9-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) outworked Moura (12-2 MMA, 3-2 UFC) for a unanimous decision on the prelims at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas. Both Cong and Moura missed the flyweight limit on the scale for their fight, so they fought at a catchweight.

Cong said Moura’s history of weight misses made her suspect it might happen again. Moura missed weight in her first two UFC fights in 2023 and 2024, but those were at strawweight. She moved to flyweight after that, but still missed on the scale this past Friday.
Cong said that was behind why she didn’t go all out to hit her number, either. It was her first weight miss in the UFC, though she wasn’t punished for it other than being ineligible for post-fight bonus money.
“When I knew my opponent wasn’t going to make weight, I didn’t push myself to the limit,” Cong said through a translator at her post-fight news conference. “Of course I’ll stay at flyweight – I haven’t reached the belt yet.”
