TROY, Ala. – After taking a win and a loss on the road, Troy men’s tennis prepares to welcome Coastal Alabama and Spring Hill for a doubleheader on Wednesday.
Over the weekend, Troy (5-3) beat Kennesaw State, 4-2, by claiming the doubles point before taking on the singles matches in what soon became a close match. Sophomore Hirro Sakamoto gave the Trojans the win in the last singles match of the day.
During Sunday’s matchup against Samford, Troy came out strong in doubles once again, but could not overcome in the singles matches, resulting in the 4-3 loss.
Troy’s day of doubleheader matches will start with Coastal Alabama at 10 a.m.
