JUST half the 2026 Repco Supercars Championship field will feature tried and tested driver/engineer combinations.
Of the 24 full-time entries, only 12 have carried over from last year’s main game grid. Team 18 was the last squad to publicly confirm its race engineers, on Tuesday night.
The bulk of the continuity at the upper end of pitlane – in fact, Kai Allen is the only 2025 finalist with a new engineer, Riccardo Corte having come aboard from Ferrari’s Formula 1 program.
Further down the list, there’s change aplenty – including complete shake-ups at Brad Jones Racing and Matt Stone Racing (the latter having effected a double driver swap).
Tickford’s Cam Waters and Sam Potter are the longest standing combination in the field, entering their eighth successive season together.
