Beloved crime drama High Potential has taken a break from its regular episode schedule, but there’s a perfectly good reason why.
The ABC production returned for season two back in September 2025, and has had US and UK viewers completely hooked.
For those who missed the first instalment, the show follows Morgan Gillory (Kaitlin Olson), a highly intelligent single mother, who works as a night-time cleaner at the LAPD.
When she unintentionally cracks the case on an unsolvable crime, Morgan is hired to work as a civilian consultant for the Major Crimes Division.
From there, she is paired up with by-the-book Detective Adam Karadec (Daniel Sunjata), and the duo go on to solve crimes only Morgan could uncover.
The drama’s second season has so far released 12 episodes, all of which are available to stream on Disney Plus. But when can viewers tune back into the drama?

High Potential is taking a temporary break, with ABC currently airing rerun episodes instead.
It is believed that the network opted to hold back new instalments because the Winter Olympics are currently airing on NBC, which means viewers’ attention is elsewhere.
The drama will actually return for its next episode on Tuesday, March 3, which means it will be available to stream on Disney+ from March 4.
After this short period, the show will continue its usual schedule and air weekly until the finale, Episode 18.

So far, the second series has earned a stellar 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, a slight improvement on last season’s 96% score.
Fans have been left thoroughly impressed by the first batch of episodes. One five-star review reads: “Brilliant. I have loved every episode of both seasons.”
“Wonderfully cast, written, directed. I never sat there and thought ‘I saw that coming’. Totally entertaining and unique. I hope it runs for 20 years.”
While a second agreed: “I LOVE THIS SHOW! It’s a great mix of drama and crime and I love that they have a separate case (trying to find roman.) in the mix of all there daily cases! Always keeps me hooked!!!”
