BLANCHARD Racing Team Supercars recruit James Golding will don CoolDrive blue in 2026 as the auto parts brand switches across to the other side of the garage.

CoolDrive has long been associated with BRT’s #3 entry, but with Liqui Moly and Blahst signing on as multi-year co-naming rights partners on that car, an opportunity for change presented itself.

“This is probably the biggest shift we’ve made with a CoolDrive livery in our time in Supercars,” said team owner and CoolDrive chief operating officer Tim Blanchard.

“There was a clear focus on creating stronger alignment across both sides of the garage.

“While we represent different partners, everything operates under the BRT umbrella and this year’s designs really showcase that.”

Golding arrives at BRT having spent the past three-and-a-half years at PremiAir Racing.

“The car looks unreal. The CoolDrive blue is iconic, and it’s a nice change for me personally to roll out in something that stands out like this,” said the 30-year-old.

“Heading into this season, I feel like I’m in a really strong place.

“The relationship I’ve built with the crew already makes it feel like home. I can’t wait to roll out in Sydney.”

BRT enters the season with a newfound Triple Eight technical alliance in place.

On top of its main game effort, the squad will also field two cars in the Dunlop Super2 Series for Lochie Dalton and Bailey Sweeny.
