National Geographic will premier Werner Herzog’s Ghost Elephants on March 7
Disney-owned National Geographic is to premiere celebrated filmmaker Werner Herzog’s new feature-length documentary Ghost Elephants on March 7.
Produced by Skellig Rock, Sobey Road Entertainment and The Roots Production Service, it is directed, written and narrated by German auteur Herzog (Grizzly Man).
The film follows National Geographic explorer Steve Boyes on an epic journey with master trackers in pursuit of an animal long believed to be a myth – the so-called ‘ghost elephants’ of Angola.
Following its debut on Nat Geo, Ghost Elephants will stream on Disney+ and Hulu from March 8.
