“The on-track line-up for Thursday is a motorsport fan’s dream,” says Australian Grand Prix Corporation Chief Executive Officer, Travis Auld. “With the V10, Jack Brabham’s historic cars, Supercars, and Carrera Cup, along with F1 stars on the Fan Forum Stage, it truly doesn’t get better than that.”

In a landmark celebration to mark 60 years since legendary Australian driver Sir Jack Brabham’s final World Championship win, a demonstration featuring 50 cars will make their way around the circuit. The parade will include machinery spanning Brabham’s 15-year career, honoring the only person ever to win a World Championship in a car of his own construction.

“This celebration is especially meaningful to so many people in Australia,” says David Brabham, son of Sir Jack. “With 50 Brabham and Cooper cars on display, alongside on-track demonstrations with my son Sam and I driving, it promises to be an incredible spectacle.”

The day also features the Australian Motorsport Hall of Fame ceremony, where the 1966 Repco-Brabham BT19 will be officially inducted. This is the very car Sir Jack drove to secure his third championship, and it stands as a pinnacle of Australian engineering and racing heritage.

Following a thrilling 2025 season that saw Lando Norris secure his maiden title in a tense Abu Dhabi finale, the 2026 season brings new drama. Supercars will return for their second round of the year, featuring the highly anticipated debut of Toyota as a manufacturer. The fan-facing Podium will also return, allowing all ticketholders to get close to the celebrations.

Thursday provides exceptional value for fans, with Park Passes available for just $45 and children 14 and under attending for free with an adult. All grandstands are open to Park Pass holders on Thursday, offering the best vantage points for the V10 demonstrations and the first round of the Porsche Equity-One Carrera Cup.
