FORMER Supercars commentator Matt White will host a 2026 season preview show on free-to-air television this weekend.
It’s the first sign of White’s Seven Network return involving a Supercars component, having initially only been announced in a news and rugby league capacity.
White recently called Supercars action via radio network SEN in 2024, directly prior to which he was a regular on Stan Sport’s SpeedSeries coverage.
He will now be joined on the Supercars Preview Show by David Reynolds and new full-time broadcaster Mark Winterbottom to reflect on season 2025 and look ahead to the upcoming Dunlop Sydney 500 (February 20-22).
The program is scheduled to run at 11am on Sunday February 15 via 7mate and 7plus.
That is a clash with race day at the Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour, although this year’s Mount Panorama GT3 enduro is not being broadcast by Seven.
The Sydney 500 will by contrast be free-to-air on Seven – at least for the Saturday and Sunday legs.
It’s unclear if the preview show will be a precursor to White having more involvement in Seven’s Supercars coverage throughout the season.
Classic memories from the Adelaide Street Circuit
One of our highlights from season one of The Undercut was this awesome chat with Jack Perkins and James Moffat, recalling some brilliant memories from 40 years of racing on the streets of the Adelaide Street Circuit!
