A man has been arrested and charged with child sex offences, after a teenage girl was allegedly sexually assaulted on an Adelaide public bus, police say.
Police have appealed to the public for information about the alleged incident, which they said happened about 3:30pm on Monday.
“It will be alleged that a teenage girl was sexually assaulted by an unknown man while travelling on public bus route 117 from the Adelaide CBD toward the western suburbs,” police said.
The accused man, a 33-year-old from Findon, was today arrested at an Oakden address, following police investigations.
He was refused police bail and is expected to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court tomorrow.
Police have asked that witnesses, or anyone with information, contact Crime Stoppers.
