Valentine’s Day will be an active one for German rugby fans as the squad looks to follow its giant upset over Romania in Round 1 of the Rugby Europe Championship against Portugal at 7 a.m. ET on Feb. 14.

The showdown is the FloRugby Match of the Week, as the Germans climbed four spots to No. 31 in the world after their stunning win over one of the regular favorites in the Rugby Europe competition.

And it’s going to be cold in Saxony-Anhalt. Volunteers spent this week keeping snow off the field.

Portugal, meanwhile, moved up from No. 20 to No. 19 in the world after its 47-17 road win over Belgium.

Rugby Europe’s Round 1 action featured Spain taking down the Netherlands, and the tournament favorite shaking off a slow start against Switzerland in a 54-3 win.

Georgia, the defending champion, is considered the favorite again this season.
