NRL Māori v Indigenous All Stars to ignite 2026 season live and free on Channel 9
Footy fans are being invited to settle in for a full afternoon of rugby league when the Harvey Norman NRL Māori v Indigenous All Stars clash launches the season on Sunday, February 15, live and free across the 9Network and streaming on 9Now.
The annual showcase brings together elite talent from two proud cultures, with men’s and women’s matches alongside mixed touch football, delivering a packed schedule from 12.00pm AEDT ahead of the men’s main event at 3.15pm AEDT.

The 2025 NRL Indigenous All Stars line-up features Nicho Hynes, Josh Addo-Carr and Jack Wighton, while the Māori All Stars, captained by James Fisher-Harris, will look to match them across the park.
In the women’s fixture, the Women’s Indigenous All Stars side includes Australian Jillaroos and New South Wales State of Origin representative Jaime Chapman. They face a Women’s Māori All Stars team featuring Kennedy Cherrington and Jasmine Strange, playing on home turf.
Coverage will be led by Emma Lawrence for Nine’s Wide World of Sports, with commentary and analysis from Johnathan Thurston, Andrew Johns, Billy Slater, Ruan Sims and Allana Ferguson. Match callers Mat Thompson and Peter Psaltis will describe the action, joined by sideline reporter Marlee Silva.
