Karen McKenna and Gerard Kelly both picked up monthly medals at the Lakes Entrance Golf Club last week.

McKenna claimed the ladies medal

last Wednesday, with a sensational score

of minus eight.

The “A” grade winner on the day of medley stroke event was Bernie Woodland, with a score of plus six, while Sandi east took “C” grade, posting minus one.

Saturday’s medley stroke event saw 109 players grace the fairways, led home by men’s medal winner, “C” grade player, Gerard Kelly with an electrifying minus nine.

The best score of the day was posted

by reigning ladies club champion, Renee Percival, who took “A’ grade on countback with minus three.

Leigh Przibilla was successful in “B” grade with minus four, while Gary O’Neill took “D” grade with three under.

Brett Stokes scored an impressive eagle.

Last Tuesday at Ruthless and Toothless the winners were Brad Hay (“A” grade) and Ken Butler (“B” grade), with Roy Roberts having the least amount of putts, just 13.

At Young and the Rest of Us, Faye Hammond prevailed from Michelle Kirk.

Again outstanding numbers teeing off

last Thursday, with 95 players hitting off, led home by “B” grade player, Brett Dostine who accumulated 40 points to take the overall win, on comeback from “C” grade player Steve Dinham.

Garry Watson was victorious in “A” grade with 35 points, with Mark Evans again bobbing up to take “D” grade with 37 points.
