The Raiders called Seiffert Oval home for eight years from 1982 to 1990 and there will be a touch of nostalgia on Friday night when the Green Machine rolls into Queanbeyan again.

A big crowd is sure to be on hand for a heavyweight showdown between last year’s minor premiers and last year’s runners-up, while BB Print Stadium in Mackay will also be packed to the rafters as the Cowboys play host to the Panthers.

After having their five-peat dreams dashed in 2025, the Panthers will be out to make a fast start this season and fine tune combinations against the Cowboys and Wests Tigers before a Round 1 clash with the Broncos, who knocked them out of the finals in an epic clash in Brisbane.
