Now that the 2025 season has come to an end, besides seeing multiple mock drafts flood social media, outlets begin to look back and either grade or re-draft the previous drafts.
Looking back at the 2025 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans landed quite a haul, including what looks to be a franchise quarterback in Cam Newton, as well as a Pro Bowl return specialist in Chimere Dike, along with some potential starters. Honestly, a great class for Mike Borgonzi’s first draft.

While Blake Brockermeyer of CBS Sports didn’t re-draft all seven rounds of the 2025 draft, he did take a turn at re-drafting the first round, and he has the Titans standing pat.
1. Cam Ward, QB, Miami (FL) – TEN
Drafted: No. 1 overall by Titans
Original pick: Same
I still believe Cam Ward is a franchise quarterback, and he showed tremendous improvement as the season progressed. If Tennessee upgrades the offensive line and weapons around him, he will thrive in 2026.
Brockermeyer has the Titans among three top-10 teams that kept their picks after analyzing the rookie seasons of all players, and points out Ward’s growth throughout the season. Ward struggled early on, but played at a high level down the stretch and flashed enough potential to make many people confident in his future.
While one could make the argument that trading back would have been more beneficial, looking at the 2026 class, drafting Ward was definitely the right move for the Titans.
