The DJI Avata 360 has resurfaced in an extensive leak. With pricing and launch information allegedly now tweaked, leaked video footage indicates that reviewers may already have Avata 360 units in-hand.
Drone aficionado Jasper Ellens has finally weighed in on the long-rumoured DJI Avata 360. An alternative to the Antigravity A1 (curr. $1,599 on Amazon), the Avata 360 first appeared in leaks as the Avata 3 way back in May 2025. However, it was not until August that rumours surfaced that DJI had created a 360-degree drone.
Initially, DJI was said to be targeting a late 2025 release to rival Antigravity. Then in January, this launch date slipped to sometime before the end of March 2026. According to Ellens, a March 2026 release remains on track. The leaker expects DJI to launch the Avata 360 first in China, though.
Based on past performance, we may see two Avata 360 launches in March around two weeks apart, or a China launch in March with a global equivalent in early April. At the same time, an Avata 360 instructional video has been spotted within DJI’s beta apps. Embedded below, the video indicates that DJI has already shipped Avata 360 units to reviewers.
Also, updated pricing and configurations have emerged. Reproduced above, the leaked image reiterates that the Avata 360 will start at CNY 2,988 (~$435) with a battery as its sole accessory. Alternatively, the drone will be available for CNY 3,988 (~$575) with an RC 2 remote controller and CNY 5,688 (~$825) with three batteries, a charging hub, a carry case and either an RC 2 or a Goggles N3.
