Fortunately, these annoying pop-ups in Xiaomi’s own user interface can be disabled fairly easily, at least for the most part. That said, we couldn’t find a way to permanently remove ads in the file manager.
Most ads can be turned off in the settings menu. In the “Fingerprints” menu, users can further disable personalized ads. In addition, it’s recommended to turn off “recommendations” or “personalized ads” in system apps, for example in the Music and Video Player apps.
