We expect a host of clubs to roll out near full strength sides as they build to season openers.
However, a host of players have already been ruled out, the most high-profile being Te Maire Martin, who broke his leg playing for the Maori All Stars.
The Warriors are hopeful of welcoming back Taine Tuaupiki (ankle) but Chanel Harris-Tavita and Marata Niukore (both calf) will be put on ice this week as they eye round one.
The Bulldogs played their final trial last week but have big injury news on star recruit Leo Thompson, who is out for up to 10 weeks with a calf injury.
