Nicole Kidman is embracing life on her own terms following her split from Keith Urban, with inside whispers linking her to a high-profile American businessman.
Speculation has swirled in recent weeks that MGM Resorts International chairman Paul Salem may have taken a shine to our Australian actress after the pair were seen at the same events on more than one occasion.
But some sources speaking to US media outlets have shut down talk of a budding romance, maintaining that the pair have not spent any solo time together and are simply moving in similar social circles.
“She’s not dating,” one insider told Page Six this week.
“She’s single and concentrating on her children.”
Salem, accordingto TMZ, has been showing a big interest in the Babygirl star with sources saying that Salem wants those in their circle to know he is interested in Kidman.
The multimillionaire and his ex-wife Navyn Salem divorced in 2021 — with his net worth at $81 million.
Kidman, 58, officially finalised her divorce from Aussie country music star Keith Urban on January 6, bringing the Aussie duo’s 19-year marriage to an end.
Court documents cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
The Moulin Rogue! star is understood to have sought primary custody of the couple’s two daughters — Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15 — with filings reportedly outlining that the girls will spend the majority of their time with their mother.

Urban is believed to have moved out of their Nashville home following the separation, while Kidman and their daughters have remained based there.
The Grammy winning singer has largely kept a low profile since the news broke, though he was in the midst of a US tour at the time.
During one concert, he briefly acknowledged a fan named Nicole — a moment that quickly sparked chatter online – but has otherwise avoided commenting publicly on the divorce.
Kidman returned to the spotlight just days after the divorce was confirmed, stepping out to present an award before jetting to Paris Fashion Week with her two daughters.
The former couple were last seen together publicly in June 2025 at a FIFA World Cup match in Nashville.
Despite Urban’s low profile since his separation, he has been reportedly linked to women who are in his band — Maggie Baugh and Karley Scott Collins.
Just last week Kidman was spotted leaving Sydney, dripping in stylish Chanel garments after a short mystery visit to the city.
The actress and movie producer was photographed at Sydney Airport wearing a navy Chanel tweed jacket worth $12,710, a black Chanel 25 handbag and sunglasses.

Her trip to Sydney comes after Kidman sold one of her six apartments in the Milsons Point Latitude complex that overlooks Sydney Harbour in 2025.
