The cause of death for Victoria Jones, the daughter of legendary actor Tommy Lee Jones, has been revealed.
Victoria, 34, was found unconscious in a hallway at the luxurious Fairmont San Francisco hotel in California early on New Year’s Day.
Paramedics raced to the hotel after witnesses noted her skin had changed colour, but she was unable to be revived and pronounced dead at the scene.

More than six weeks later, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in San Francisco told People magazine Victoria had died due to “toxic effects of cocaine”.
The office also ruled her death was an “accident”.
Victoria was born to Jones and his first wife, Kimberlea Cloughley.
She enjoyed a brief acting career, making her acting debut as a child in 2002’s Men In Black II alongside Tommy Lee.
She later appeared in One Tree Hill in 2003, and in The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada in 2005, a film directed by her father.
However, Victoria’s troubled past with drugs came to light in the days following her shocking death.
Her first run-in with the law came on April 26 last year, when police attending a home in Napa, California, found her with white residue on her tongue and dried blood coming from her right nostril, TMZ reported.

Officers claimed she admitted to using cocaine and resisted arrest after being handcuffed.
She was charged with being under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and resisting, obstructing or delaying a police officer.
Victoria was arrested again on June 13 following reports of a domestic violence incident in Napa County. A man told police he had been struck in the face by Victoria during an argument about her drug use. She was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery.
Victoria pleaded not guilty in both cases.

The Jones family released a statement on the day after Victoria’s death, saying: “We appreciate all of the kind words, thoughts, and prayers. Please respect our privacy during this difficult time. Thank you.”
Jones, a four-time Academy Award nominee, took home the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role in The Fugitive in 1993.
Over a career spanning more than four decades, he has become known for his performances in films such as JFK, the Men in Black series, No Country for Old Men, Lincoln, The Client and The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada.
He remains one of Hollywood’s most respected actors.
