Hamilton has unveiled two new releases to tie in with the latest edition in the long-running Resident Evil video game series, Resident Evil Requiem.
The games’ protagonists wear a special Khaki Field Auto Chrono and a bespoke American Classic Pan Europ, which have both now been immortalised with real-life limited editions.
Both watches were developed in conjunction with the games’ creators, Capcom, to be heavily rooted in the gameplay narrative.
It’s no secret that watches have long been woven into storytelling culture. Some of our favourite timepieces achieved iconic status thanks, in part, to their roles on screen, and whatever your age, most enthusiasts can trace a spark of fascination back to a character’s wrist. In 2026, however, the landscape has shifted. The video game industry has long since eclipsed the movie industry, and Hamilton, long associated with cinema’s most memorable watches, is homing in on it fast.
Following on from their collaboration with the immensely popular first-person-shooter series, Call of Duty, late last year, Hamilton has just announced a new pair of video game-themed watches, this time in partnership with the eagerly-awaited Resident Evil Requiem. The game is the latest in a long-running franchise that offers unique, heart-stoppingly scary gameplay, intertwined with an immersive and chilling storyline.
Khaki Field Auto Chronograph Resident Evil Requiem LTD Edition
The first watch is a blacked-out Khaki Field Auto Chronograph, featured on the wrist of the legendary character Leon S. Kennedy, a highly trained US government agent who specialises in bio-terrorism threats. It features a chunky 42mm steel case, which certainly has presence, measuring 14.5mm thick. Additionally, the case is PVD-coated for a stealthy, special-ops look, and is packed with details that reference the character and the game. For example, in a twist that’s unique to this watch, the chronograph pushers are designed to resemble bullet casings, and the large crown is knurled like a sniper scope.
The black theme continues onto the dial, which features several finishes, including a sunburst central disc surrounded by matte black subdials. The hands are also blacked out, but the dial and hands feature considerable amounts of contrasting lume to keep things surprisingly legible, just as any decent pilot’s watch should be.
At 9 o’clock, a large wing emblem is etched into the dial, which is a common theme in the Resident Evil universe, and is said to embody the “prayers for the fallen”. It’s a cool addition that certainly leans into that stealthy, militarised aesthetic that suits the style of the game.
Sitting beneath the sapphire exhibition case back is the Hamilton H-21 automatic chronograph movement, which is based on the ETA/Valjoux 7750. A reliable, solid movement, it features a 60-hour power reserve and, in this specification, a date and day window, too. While it can look a bit too busy on the dial, it does appear functional and befitting of the go-anywhere, do-anything tool watch style. Finally, this limited-edition Khaki Field Auto Chrono comes equipped with a black synthetic strap, which is closed with an H-pin buckle.

American Classic Pan Europ Resident Evil Requiem LTD Edition
The second watch in this capsule collection appears in-game on the wrist of FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft, a new character to the Resident Evil series and the daughter of Alyssa Ashcroft, who appeared in some of the earlier games in the early 2000s. Again, draped in a black PVD coating, you could be forgiven for thinking this American Classic Pan Europ is a reissue of the watch from Hamilton’s 2022 Black & Gold collection, but some subtle differences set this model apart. There’s a unique two-tone crown, and the text on the rotating bezel is now finished in gold rather than grey. Finally, there’s a gold motif added to the sapphire exhibition case back.
Like the Chrono, this is not a small watch. At 42mm in diameter and 11.5mm thick, it isn’t too big, but the 1970s-style tonneau shape means the additional stainless steel around the sides of the case gives it some heft. Surprisingly, the Pan Europ offers only 50 meters of water resistance, which I suppose could be better, given that the Chrono model manages to offer 100 meters and has two additional points of ingress for water where the pushers sit. Still, this isn’t necessarily a hardcore tool watch, but that relatively low level of water resistance is still worth bearing in mind.
The dial on this Resident Evil Requiem limited edition has additional differences that set it apart from other models. Again, they’re subtle, but they work. First of all, the main dial plate is matte black, with a central disc featuring linear brushing, rather than the sunburst black we’ve seen before. Additionally, there’s much less dial text, with Hamilton opting to lose the “Pan Europ” and “Automatic” printing. The result is much cleaner, and the dial still offers some cool dimensionality thanks to the applied indices that are set into the contrasting gold chapter ring.
Inside the watch is the Hamilton calibre H-30 automatic movement, based on the ETA C07.621, which belongs to the Powermatic 80 family. It boasts a healthy 80-hour power reserve while beating at 21,600 Vph and squeezes in a day and date function, which is relatively unusual in the Powermatic 80 range. Finally, the watch is finished with a black leather strap featuring a crocodile pattern and a gold central line, complete with a folding clasp to keep it secure when escaping from t-virus-infected, mutated creatures.
