2026 NFL Combine ResultsAvieon Terrell, Clemson, CBPros of Avieon Terrell
Fundalmentalist. Can tell he comes from a football family when analyzing his excellent technique. Textbook footwork, hip flips, and transitions.
Inside-out versatility. Parlays man coverage ability on the boundary with change of direction and close quarters skills that can work in the slot.
Plays bigger than he’s listed. Five forced fumbles in 2025. Not afraid to come down and lay into pass catchers.
Cons of Avieon Terrell
Slight of frame. Questions about durability, usage as a nickel against heavy personnel and his ability to guard larger pass catchers.
Ball production. No interceptions in 2025, can have trouble tracking the football.
Relies on traits. Uses his quick twitch to break on the ball or force pass defenses rather than instincts or play recognition.
Background
A four-star recruit out of Westlake High School in Atlanta, Georgia, Avieon is the younger brother of Atlanta Falcons All-Pro A.J. Terrell. Avieon was also a track athlete in high school before joining the Clemson Tigers, where he would go on to be a semifinalist for the Jim Thorpe award and an All-American for the 2025 season.

Player Evaluation
Terrell provides something that no other top-flight corner in the class does: true inside-outside versatility. You can watch him handle receivers with ease down the boundary and break on the football from wide alignments. Then, you can see how his fundamental technique, smooth footwork, and buttery hips allow him to excel in close quarters as a nickel.
Some may question his usage due to size constraints, but Terrell consistently exceeds his measurements on tape. The final step is adding play recognition and ball tracking to his game so he can become a complete corner that makes quarterbacks fearful of testing him.
