WARNING: This story mentions allegations of inappropriate sexual acts.

Police in Goulburn in southern NSW were called to a medical centre yesterday morning after a receptionist raised the alarm about a man’s behaviour.

Officers said a man at the Fenwick Crescent business was observed making sexual comments while repeatedly touching himself in a lewd way.

Police said the man fled on foot when they arrived.

He was next seen outside a nearby childcare centre and it was there that he was accused of performing a lewd act towards a staff member.

He was again pursued by police with the foot chase covering private backyards.

That was when bystanders working in a cherry picker on Lagoon Street helped police by sharing the man’s whereabouts.

The aerial intelligence from the lineworkers helped police close in on their target.

Officers eventually arrested a 37-year-old man before charging him with stalking, intimidation and carrying out a sexual act.

He was also charged with unlawfully entering properties with an intent to commit offences.
