At the Forrester mansion, Brooke and Ridge, suddenly unconcerned about causing stress, grill Eric about his sketches. Eric demurs that he’s been doing a little drawing since he retired. Ridge frowns… is there more going on here?
At Spencer, Hope walks in, kisses Liam, and immediately senses something is wrong. Liam stammers out a reply, and Hope explains she’s come to see Katie about the growing rift between her and her mother.
Hope rambles on until Liam reacts to her speculation about Katie’s mystery designer. He grimaces when she spots the gorgeous sketches on the desk. Liam, caving impressively easily, instantly decides he can’t hide the truth any longer.
Handling Hubby
At Bill’s place, he’s still droning on about Eric having to produce and his whining about the cheaper silk (since when is Bill so cheap?!). Katie worries and frets, and Bill assures her Eric will be just fine, which is a sure sign that he won’t be.
Taming the beast, somewhat, Katie gets Bill to agree that they must be mindful of Eric’s health. She decides to text Donna to check on him.
At that very moment, Brooke and Ridge are pawing through Eric’s sketches, which they deem to be “so good they could be Forrester Originals” (no kidding). Ridge, naturally, announces that he wants to put them in his couture line. Eric lands squarely on the hot seat as Ridge peppers him with questions and requests that he bring his designs to Forrester. “Let’s do it!”
Setting up a huge confrontation, and an epic reveal, Katie decides to head over to the Forrester mansion when she doesn’t get a response from Donna. Bill, of course, will accompany her.
Back at the Forrester mansion, Ridge packs Eric’s bags for a guilt trip as he launches into a heartfelt speech about how much he means and how much he misses him. He really wants those designs and will even get his dad the good Italian silk.
As Eric says, “I’ve done something,” Katie and Bill waltz through the door.
The Final Scenes
At Spencer, Liam tells Hope that Katie’s designer is not just talented… they’re a legend. He drags it out, but eventually tells her it’s Eric Forrester.
At the Forrester mansion, Ridge calls Katie and Bill out for not knocking. She reminds him it’s her sister’s house. Bill jabs that they’re checking on Eric since Ridge put him out to pasture. Brooke takes great pleasure in telling them about Eric’s fabulous new designs, which they’re encouraging him to bring to Forrester, and Ridge needles that they’ll never find that kind of brilliance. Wait for it…

Katie can’t take it anymore and tells Eric she’s doing this for him. “You want to know who my designer is? You’re looking at him. Eric is the lead designer for Logan.” Ridge’s head spins around on his neck. “Is this true?! You’re working for Katie and Spencer?!”
