A teenage boy has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a stabbing at a Geelong shopping centre on Thursday afternoon.
Police were called to the Market Square shopping centre just after 3.30pm following reports of a fight between two boys in the mall.
Witnesses said a group of teenage bystanders believed to be known to the pair watched them fight.
A 17-year-old boy was later found by police injured nearby with suspected stab wounds.
He was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
Detectives are still searching for the other person involved in the fight and the bystanders, who fled the scene and were last seen heading towards Yarra Street.
A crime scene has been established in the mall and the surrounding area as police process the scene.
